Follow Friday

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This is a meme that helps book bloggers connect. The featured blogs this week are Hands and Home and Me, My Shelf, and I.

“Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).”

Answer: There’s a few that have made a big impression. The only book that I can remember from my childhood is Awake and Dreaming. It’s the first book I can remember really loving. I didn’t read a lot, but I read now and then. I got seriously interested in reading after I read Lord of the Rings. Still, I didn’t read as much as I do now, mainly because I didn’t have the time with school and all. The last year of college, I didn’t have to do much reading for my classes. I started reading Jane Austen and after that I never stopped reading. I guess that’s when I became an avid reader.

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books and is an awesome way to for book bloggers to interact and find each other. Such a wonderful idea! There’s a new question every week that all the participating blogs have to answer. This week’s question is: “What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?”

Answer: Seriously? Just one? I’m not sure I can do that. So… these aren’t really getting mailed out right now, but I’d love A Million Suns by Beth Revis, Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver, and Black Heart by Holly Black. I could probably keep going, but I won’t.

Happy Friday! Please take a moment to say hello and follow. I will drop by and return the favor.
