Blog Hop/Follow Friday

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books and is an awesome way to for book bloggers to interact and find each other. Such a wonderful idea! There’s a new question every week that all the participating blogs have to answer. This week’s question is “If I gave you $80 and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?”

Answer: Great question, but so difficult to answer. I usually only buy books when I know I want to keep them, and I like to have hardcovers. Here are some of the books on my wishlist right now. I’ve read all of them, but I’d love to have them on my bookshelf.

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee. This is another meme that helps book bloggers connect. The featured blog this week is Bookaholic Does Blogging.

“Who are You the Boy/Girl, instead of You the Blogger?”

Answer: I am Laura Ashlee the girl. I’m a twenty-three-year-old  college student. I’m finished up my last year as a vocal performance major (recital in three weeks! eek!). Though, I want to keep singing and taking voice lessons, I also want to get my master’s in library and information sciences. I work in the operations department of a multimillion dollar corporation that specializes in building and contracting healthcare facilities. It’s a pretty nice job for an undergrad. I have an amazing and pretty large family that are all very supportive. I have a boyfriend of two years, who is the most amazing man I know. I spend a great deal of my time with him. The rest of my time is devoted to work, school, and reading.

  2. Awesome picks! This was a tough question, and it took me a while to figure out what all to put on there. I'm the same way when it comes to purchasing books, I only buy the ones I know I want to be on my shelf. :)Old follower, hopping through on the blog hop! Happy Friday!
