Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is on tour! This month it’s being hosted by Knitting and Sundries. This is a weekly meme created by The Printed Page where book bloggers show off the books they received, picked up from the library, or bought at the book store.

I’ve had a good, easy week. Yesterday, I sang John Rutter’s Requiem with the church choir. It’s a really beautiful choir piece if you’ve never heard it, and I got to sing a couple of awesome solos. I’m thinking about doing the Steampunk Challenge in 2011. Since I wasn’t very far into it, I decided to save Leviathan for the challenge. I think I’m also going to re-read His Dark Materials for it too. I think it will be fun. Here’s what I got this week.

  1. I've heard good things about Tyger Tyger. Enjoy all your new books!

  2. Your library books look fun! Happy reading. My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.

  3. OMG laughed myself to bits when I saw the title of the first book: Do Tampons take your Virginity. Now admit it everyone as a young teenager has had this very thought. Going to look this one up since I have no clue where it's from. Thanks for the heads up.

  4. Tyger Tyger was very good; which reminds me (again!) that I need to get my review up. I've heard that your new book is pretty darn good; I hope you enjoy it! Julie @ Knitting and Sundries
