Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is on tour! This month it’s being hosted by She Reads and She Reads. This is a weekly meme created by The Printed Page where book bloggers show off the books they received, picked up from the library, or bought at the book store.

I thought I’d give you a few updates about the past week. Last Monday, I went to tour the MLIS program at the University of Alabama. I absolutely loved it. The program is great and the professors all seem really cool. I’m really excited. Wednesday night I went to the Bob Dylan concert with my brother. It was awesome. I’m so glad I got to go since it’s probably the only time I’ll ever see him. There’s just something awesome about a 70-year-old guy on stage playing guitar and harmonica and rocking out with a whole band. He played some great songs too: “Just Like a Woman,” “Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” and “Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat.” I got a lot of books this week too. Seriously, I went crazy this week.

  1. You got some great books at the library! I have Looking for Alaska, Fire, and If I Stay in my huge TBR pile…I really need to get around to reading them! And I read Firelight a little while ago and enjoyed it. I hope you do too!
